Corel Painter X How I love/hate you.

First Post!

I'm just testing the interface. Trying to figure out what I can do.

Here is a painting I did for Palladium Books Nightbane role playing game.
This piece solidified my love/hate relationship with Corel Painter. Halfway through the image the bloody program crashed.

The crash completely corrupted the image. It refused to open and as a consequence I lost many hours of work.

Thankfully, I save several iterations after each stage. For example, if I finish the characters arm I save. If I finish the characters other arm I save the document with a different name. Painter actually has a menu action "Iterative Save" specifically designed to do just this.

After I finished cursing at the screen, I wondered to myself why am I using Painter. Are there any other programs that are more stable? I opened the painting up in Adobe Photoshop.

Hmmm... this is not working.
